Job Summary

CS Energy is seeking a highly skilled Construction Superintendent to join our team. As a key member of our project operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the construction of safe, high-quality, profitable, and on-schedule renewable projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Team Management: Build and motivate a diverse team of individuals to meet project goals and adhere to responsibilities and project milestones.
  • Safety and Quality: Lead and enforce safety policies and procedures, addressing non-compliance among employees, subcontractors, and vendors.
  • Project Execution: Execute projects using the Quality Management System, recognizing potential patterns of rework and developing solutions to eliminate it.
  • Project Management: Perform or oversee fundamental project management practices, including construction progress tracking, progress and financial forecasting, document management, problem-solving, dispute resolution, design troubleshooting, and value engineering.
  • Scheduling and Cost Control: Set, communicate, and enforce production goals and schedules with subcontractors, and work to beat project cost budgets.
  • Training and Development: Train the project team on planning, surveying, plan reading, productivity, efficiency, economical crew size, quality workmanship, and safety to ensure projects are constructed expeditiously and profitably.
Requirements
  • 4+ years of relevant construction industry experience, with progressively greater responsibility.
  • 4+ years overseeing self-perform work with several crews totaling 20 craft persons and equipment operators or more.
  • Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to lead a diverse group of individuals.
  • Successfully led relatively complex construction projects with diverse scopes and aggressive timelines.
  • Superb customer service skills and proven ability to mitigate difficult client relations.
  • Expert knowledge of various areas of construction (electrical, earthwork, utilities, structures, mechanical, etc.) and OSHA Safety regulations.
  • Excellent teamwork, communication, leadership, people skills, and solid time management skills.
  • Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and P3/P6 Primavera software.
  • Ability to travel and/or temporarily relocate to project construction sites every 3-12 months throughout your region of the United States.
  • Minimum of High School diploma or GED required.
