Job Overview

NoGigiddy is on the lookout for a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Community Manager to enhance our virtual community for gig workers. In this position, you will play a vital role in nurturing and overseeing our community platform. Your primary responsibilities will include moderating discussions, interacting with members, and cultivating a welcoming and supportive online atmosphere. This role is perfect for individuals who are passionate about community development and are keen to embark on a career in community management. While a college degree is not mandatory, excellent communication skills and a genuine desire to assist others are crucial.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Community Interaction: Proactively engage with gig workers on our community platform, promoting participation and a sense of belonging.
  • Moderation Duties: Oversee conversations, uphold community standards, and ensure a safe and respectful space for all participants.
  • Content Development: Create and disseminate content that resonates with our audience, including posts, articles, and updates related to NoGigiddy and gig work opportunities.
  • Support and Communication: Address inquiries, concerns, and feedback from community members in a timely and effective manner.
  • Event Planning: Organize and implement virtual events, webinars, and live sessions to engage and inform our community.
  • Feedback Gathering: Collect insights and feedback from the community to enhance our platform and services.
  • Collaborative Efforts: Partner with other departments to ensure consistent messaging and support marketing and recruitment initiatives.
  • Performance Tracking: Monitor community engagement metrics and provide regular updates on community activities and growth.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Communication Proficiency: Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Creative Thinking: Capability to produce engaging and original content.
  • Organizational Acumen: Strong aptitude for managing multiple tasks and prioritizing effectively.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Ability to foster and maintain relationships within the community.
  • Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with community management platforms and social media tools.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Competence in addressing and resolving community issues and conflicts.
  • Time Management: Strong ability to manage time efficiently and meet deadlines.
  • Customer Service Background: Experience in a customer-facing role is advantageous.

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience in community management, social media management, or a related field is beneficial but not essential.
  • Prior exposure to gig economy platforms or staffing applications is a plus.
  • Experience in hosting and coordinating virtual events is desirable.

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Relevant certifications or coursework in social media, marketing, or community management are advantageous but not required.

Working Conditions:

  • Remote Work: This role offers the flexibility of remote work.

Salary Range:
