A Senior Analyst is needed to assist the Headquarters Department of the Army, G-8, in the area of Force Development Joint Requirements and Assessments. This role involves conducting thorough analyses, providing insightful reviews, and formulating recommendations to support the validation and endorsement of prospective material requirements. This includes the assessment of Army Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System (JCIDS) documents by the Army Requirements Oversight Council (AROC).

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Deliver strategic methods, plans, and policy suggestions based on comprehensive studies and analyses related to the development of warfighting capability requirements, force modernization, rapid acquisition/rapid equipping, Army studies and analyses, Army experimentation, test and evaluation, and advancements in science and technology.
  2. Conduct detailed analyses and provide recommendations regarding the formulation of Army policies and procedures concerning the development of Army requirements and operational capabilities, including the implementation of JCIDS through the Army Materiel Requirements and AROC process.
  3. Analyze and propose enhancements to refine the requirements determination process and other procedures impacting the delivery of material capabilities, ensuring synchronization and integration of current competing requirements, including the TRADOC Capability Needs Analysis (CNA).

Qualifications:

A Bachelor's degree in Business or Public Administration, Management, Economics, Math, Science, Engineering, History, or English is required. A Master's degree in one of these fields will be considered if the Bachelor's degree does not meet the criteria. Candidates must possess a minimum of eight (8) years of experience and expertise in Force Development functions. Experience should be acquired at various levels of Army organizations, with a focus on senior levels such as HQDA, MACOMs, or Army Service Component Commands. Familiarity with JCIDS and the Army Requirements process is essential.
