About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cost Analyst to join our team at Booz Allen Hamilton. As a Senior Cost Analyst, you will play a critical role in helping our clients make informed decisions about their financial resources.

Key Responsibilities
  • Translate requirements into cost through data collection, model building, and cost and risk analyses.
  • Develop recommendations that will impact how hundreds of millions of dollars are invested throughout the project's life cycle.
  • Help identify cost data to be collected, develop data collection plans, and review draft work breakdown structures (WBSs) and cost reporting plans.
  • Extract data about the technology and performance of submarine communications systems and undersea integration systems through discussions with SMEs, engineers, and project managers.
  • Derive meaning from raw numbers using a variety of data science techniques, like normalizing data, performing statistical regression, and using learning curve analysis.
  • Develop total ownership cost estimates, helping program managers, senior leadership, and clients to plan and field systems on time.
Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience with cost estimating or financial data analytics.
  • Experience with DoD acquisition and supporting major milestones.
  • Experience with data collection and analysis.
  • Secret clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with the manufacturing process flow.
  • Experience with management and business development.
  • Ability to multi-task and work under minimal supervision.
  • Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Possession of excellent leadership, teamwork, and collaboration skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Research, Mathematics, or Economics.
  • International Cost Estimating and Analysis Association (ICEAA) Certified Cost Estimator and Analyst (CCE/A) Certification.
Clearance
