Job Summary

Medline is seeking a talented sales specialist to join our Laboratory sales team in the Baltimore/DC territory. As a sales representative, you will be responsible for driving sales growth on all lab product categories, collaborating with acute care reps and IDN market directors, and establishing and nurturing customer and manufacturer rep relationships.

Responsibilities
  • Call on all departments within the hospital lab to drive sales growth on all lab product categories
  • Collaborate with acute care reps and IDN market directors within your specific region
  • Make sales presentations of Laboratory Consumables and Capital Equipment
  • Establish and nurture customer and manufacturer rep relationships
  • Achieve sales growth goals as established
  • Develop a regular call cycle with key decision makers
  • Manage and maintain existing business, presenting new products to grow business
  • Heavy cold calling, targeting/prospecting new account opportunities
  • Manage your territory with an entrepreneurial spirit and franchise mentality
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree and at least 2 years of quota-based sales experience demonstrating a background in cold calling, commissioned, full-cycle sales experience
  • Track record of demonstrable sales growth and quota attainment
  • Ability to present multiple product lines
  • Excellent communication and organization skills
  • Stable work history
  • Ability to work independently
  • Computer proficiency especially MS Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Previous laboratory consumables and capital equipment sales experience preferred

The anticipated salary range for this position is $68,320.00 - $99,320.00 Annual. This role is bonus and/or incentive eligible. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.
