Job Description

South Country Health Alliance is seeking a highly skilled County Relations Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our Community Engagement department, you will be responsible for building strong relationships with county staff and providing daily support to ensure the successful implementation of our programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain relationships with county staff to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Provide daily support and assistance to county staff to ensure the successful implementation of our programs.
  • Prepare and disseminate reports and other information to internal staff and county staff.
  • Assist with ensuring compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in various workgroups and meetings with DHS staff and other health plans to ensure regulatory and South Country requirements are met.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in social work, nursing, or behavioral science.
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in public health, long-term care, or other settings that cater to vulnerable populations.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong critical thinking skills and ability to identify, resolve, and escalate issues efficiently.
