Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Civil Engineer with a strong background in project management to oversee and coordinate various aspects of construction projects. The ideal candidate will have expertise in civil engineering principles, a proven track record in managing construction projects, and excellent communication skills.

As a Civil Engineer working with our team, you will be responsible for ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with architects, surveyors, and other professionals to develop comprehensive project plans and designs.
  2. Conduct feasibility studies and site investigations to assess project viability and potential challenges.
  3. Manage and supervise all phases of construction projects, ensuring adherence to design specifications and safety standards.
  4. Develop project schedules, allocate resources, and monitor progress to ensure timely completion.
  5. Prepare detailed project budgets, including material and labor costs.
  6. Monitor expenditures, identify cost-saving opportunities, and ensure projects stay within budget constraints.
  7. Ensure that all construction activities comply with local, state, and federal regulations and codes.
  8. Implement quality control measures to ensure the highest standards of workmanship.
  9. Liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to communicate project objectives, updates, and timelines.
  10. Coordinate with various teams to facilitate smooth workflow and resolve any issues that may arise during construction.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license in NJ.
  • Proven experience in managing civil engineering projects from conception to completion.
  • Proficiency in project management software and AutoCAD.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
