Responsibilities
Position Summary
Members of the End User Services (EUS) Technical Support team are tasked with the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of desktop, laptop, and mobile PC workstations, printers, and related peripherals, both on-site and remotely. EUS team members monitor desktop hardware performance and ensure a secure operational environment. Professionals in this role are knowledgeable about Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) that gauge the effectiveness of their services and are committed to enhancing operational efficiencies while delivering value to the user community.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitates the deployment and implementation of desktop hardware for projects of low to medium complexity, while also providing support for high-complexity user community needs.
- Participates as a team member on multiple projects, serving as a subject matter expert in specific areas.
- Addresses incidents, diagnoses complex issues, and offers guidance to fellow team members. Contributes to the knowledge management database for problem reporting and resolution, escalating issues as necessary. Engages in problem management and conducts root cause analysis when required.
- Responds to assigned issues, engaging in advanced troubleshooting, procurement, and deployment of new devices, upgrades, and installations. Provides insights on technical process improvements to enhance overall service delivery. Involved in local and enterprise projects of low to moderate complexity and may mentor other team members. Participates in on-call support rotations.
- Demonstrates advanced desktop service skills and collaborates closely with cross-functional IT teams on complex issues. Continues to deepen understanding of processes, procedures, and CommonSpirit Health standards.
- Exhibits leadership potential through team motivation, coaching, and mentoring.
Qualifications
- Associate's degree or technical institute degree/certificate, or 4-6 years of relevant experience is required.
- 4-6 years of experience in the service industry.
- Advanced customer service skills are essential.
- Proficiency in Windows operating systems, network printing systems, and Microsoft Office applications is required.
- Experience with Google Suite is preferred.
- Experience in the healthcare sector is strongly preferred.
Compensation is based on directly related experience and company equity.
Pay Range
$40.36 per hour
