About the Role

Advocate Aurora Health is seeking a skilled Per Diem Surgical Technologist to join our team in Grafton, Wisconsin. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of surgical procedures, providing exceptional patient care, and maintaining a safe and efficient environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in preparing patients for surgery, ensuring aseptic techniques are followed and maintaining a sterile environment.
  • Provide support to surgeons and OR nurses during procedures, anticipating their needs and ensuring the smooth flow of the operation.
  • Maintain equipment and supplies, ensuring they are in good working condition and readily available for use.
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure the highest level of patient care and satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required within 6 months of hire.
  • Currently enrolled in an accredited Surgical Technology program or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
