Surgical Technologist

Advocate Aurora Health is seeking a per diem / prn Surgical Technologist to join our team in Grafton, Wisconsin.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of the operating room environment, ensuring a clean and safe space for patients and staff.
- Provide support to surgical teams during procedures, including setting up equipment and supplies, and maintaining a sterile field.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and efficient surgical processes.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest surgical techniques and technologies.
- Contribute to a positive and respectful work environment, upholding the values of Advocate Aurora Health.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA) is required.
- Currently enrolled in an accredited or approved program in Surgical Technology is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and push/pull with 30 lbs. of force.
