LHH Recruitment is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented HR Generalist to join our client\u2019s team in Vancouver, WA. This role will primarily focus on managing leave of absence processes and ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and company policies.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR and a passion for supporting employees through their journeys.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer and manage all leave of absence requests, including FMLA, disability, and personal leaves.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local leave laws and regulations.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for employees regarding leave of absence policies and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all leave requests and approvals.
  • Collaborate with managers and employees to facilitate smooth transitions before, during, and after leaves of absence.
  • Provide guidance and support to employees on leave-related matters, including benefits and return-to-work processes.
  • Conduct regular audits of leave records to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Assist with other HR functions as needed, including employee relations, benefits administration, and onboarding.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor\u2019s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred; High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • 3+ years of experience in HR, with a focus on leave of absence management.
  • Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local leave laws and regulations, ideally in OR and/or WA.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and other HR-related software.
