Business Development Manager

At OneMain Financial, we're seeking a Business Development Manager to assist our Branch Managers in creating a work environment that fosters exceptional customer experiences. As a Business Development Manager, you'll provide leadership and training for branch staff, leading by example in delivering personal loan solutions through underwriting decision making and collection activity. This role serves as a developmental opportunity for future leadership roles within the branch network.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver results related to individual and branch sales and collections goals as well as customer expectations
- Develop new relationships and maintain existing relationships with customers throughout the loan process and loan life cycle
- Present financial solutions based on customer needs that meet their goals
- Present customers with optional insurance products available
- Educate customers on the terms and conditions of their loan to ensure a clear understanding
- Learn how to utilize credit underwriting techniques and sales tools
- Manage the life cycle of the loan, including closing loans, collections activities, and complying with all laws and regulations
- Assist in the training and coaching of Branch Team Members and provide interim leadership in Branch Manager absences

Requirements
- HS Diploma/GED
- Proven experience in achieving established business goals and objectives
- Experience in financial services leadership
- Ability to obtain Insurance Licensing within 6 months of start date if required by state

Preferred
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or related field
