About the Role:

This is a fully remote position based out of the Phoenix/Scottsdale area, where you will have the support of an all-star, industry-leading recruitment team. As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities to drive our growth. You will work closely with clients to understand their needs and provide customized recruitment solutions, negotiate recruitment agreement terms, and prepare proposals and presentations. You will also be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with key clients, monitoring industry trends, and providing insights and recommendations.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify potential clients and business opportunities through market research, networking, cold calling, and other channels
  • Build and maintain relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and providing customized recruitment solutions
  • Collaborate with clients to negotiate recruitment agreement terms, and prepare proposals and presentations
  • Act as a primary point of contact for clients, ensuring satisfaction and addressing concerns promptly
  • Monitor industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities, offering insights and recommendations
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure the smooth delivery of services and enhance client satisfaction
  • Keep accurate records of sales activities, manage the sales pipeline, and provide regular reports and forecasts
  • Represent Boutique Recruiting at industry events, conferences, and networking functions with monthly travel often required

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field is preferred
  • 5+ years of work experience in Business Development or sales, preferably in the recruitment industry or similar field
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with competing time-sensitive deadlines
  • Excellent networking and relationship-building skills, capable of engaging with individuals at all organizational levels
  • Outstanding communication and presentation abilities, both in speaking and writing
  • Strategic thinking skills, with a knack for identifying growth opportunities and devising effective sales strategies
  • A results-oriented attitude, with a focus on meeting and surpassing sales goals
  • The ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software, such as Salesforce
  • Ability to travel as necessary (typically 1-3 times per quarter)
