Overview
Shift4 Payments is a global cross-border payments provider that powers commerce around the world with simple payment solutions. As a key member of our sales team, you will play a crucial role in helping merchants succeed with our Point of Sale technology.
Responsibilities
As a Sales Professional for Restaurants, you will be responsible for:
- Setting appointments with merchants to present our Point of Sale solutions.
- Prospecting for new business opportunities through phone calls, face-to-face interactions, and networking.
- Assisting existing clients with additional services, including hardware, software, and professional services.
- Building strong relationships with merchants by listening to their needs and resolving any outstanding issues.
- Explaining the value of our products and services through presentations and demonstrations.
- Identifying and qualifying sales opportunities to upsell additional products and services.
- Developing new accounts and targeting areas for growth and market expansion.
- Exhibiting a high level of professionalism and adhering to company policies and procedures to effectively grow market share.
- Signing new logos in your assigned territory.
- Staying up-to-date with current products and services, as well as changes and updates within the payments industry.
- Maintaining regular communication with your direct manager.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in the restaurant industry, preferably in a management or sales role.
- Self-motivated and results-driven, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Computer and smartphone literacy.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience in outside sales.
- Proven sales experience and a track record of meeting or exceeding targets in a competitive environment.
- Knowledge of Salesforce and CRM tools is a plus.
- Familiarity with POS systems or other restaurant management software is a plus.
- MUST HAVE: Valid driver's license and auto insurance.
- Ability to successfully pass a background check.
- Earnings: Base salary $50K+ bonuses+ car allowances
