About the Job

AdeIphi MedicaI Staffing is seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our team. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist healthcare professionals with patient care, including vital signs, medical histories, and treatment plans.
  • Perform administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments, processing medical records, and communicating with patients and families.
  • Conduct basic laboratory tests, such as blood pressure and temperature checks.
  • Prepare patients for exams and procedures, including preparing equipment and supplies.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, including patient charts and billing information.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Provide education and support to patients and families on health-related topics.
Requirements
  • High School graduate or equivalent (i.e. GED).
  • Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program, on-the-job experience or training, and participation in a registration program conducted by an accredited by national health services organization, such as American Medical Technologists, and passing the credentialing exam.
  • Medical Assistant certification.
  • Previous experience in a clinical setting.
  • Passed x-ray operator's examination or willing to take exam according to individual clinic needs.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in an efficient manner.
  • Knowledge of and skill in using computer software applications.
  • Ability to travel using a personal vehicle to various local worksite (only applicable for Occupational Medicine).
  • Current BLS Certification.
  • Minnesota license.
