Walker Methodist is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide telephonic support and clinical oversight to our Assisted Living communities and their leaders off hours and weekends.
Key Responsibilities- Provide timely response to resident and staff concerns via phone calls during assigned hours, utilizing sound clinical judgment and adhering to Walker Methodist policies and procedures.
- Offer guidance and clinical direction to home care licensed and non-licensed staff.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of home care activities.
- Prioritize resident care based on health, functional, psychosocial, and vulnerability assessments and reassessments.
- Notify the Director of Health Services or Executive Director of Housing of any matters, performance challenges, or critical community concerns.
- Function as a resident advocate for care concerns.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or designee.
- Current, active licensure in the State of Minnesota as a Registered Nurse.
- Current BLS Certification.
- Minimum of one year assisted living or long-term care experience.
- Previous experience working in an Assisted Living environment is preferred.
- Previous experience working with an electronic medical record is required.
