Position Overview:
This role is pivotal in achieving optimal occupancy rates while maximizing rental income for assigned properties. Responsibilities include engaging prospective tenants, negotiating lease agreements in collaboration with the legal team and property managers, and securing signed leases for landlord approval.

This is a part-time position, requiring a commitment of 20 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and cultivate relationships with potential tenants for Kraus-Anderson properties.
  • Collaborate with Property Managers and the Legal Department to review all leases prior to tenant submission.
  • Prepare and submit monthly Leasing Reports to keep leadership informed on annual goals.
  • Provide timely updates on any travel, including contacts made and meeting outcomes.
  • Negotiate lease agreements to achieve the lowest vacancy rates and highest income possible.
  • Discuss upcoming tenant renewals and potential new tenants with leadership to determine optimal rental rates.
  • Work closely with the Property Manager to ensure seamless transitions for new tenants.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with real estate brokers.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in leasing office buildings, shopping centers, and other commercial properties.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of effectively engaging with internal and external stakeholders via phone, text, and email.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining a positive attitude and delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Effective time management skills to maximize productivity and achieve challenging objectives.
  • Commitment to compliance with all company policies and procedures.
  • Exemplary work ethic, upholding company values and maintaining high standards of conduct.
  • Excellent follow-up skills with both internal and external parties.
  • Willingness to embrace new challenges.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Additional Requirements:
  • Valid Driver's License and a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record that meets company standards.
  • Real Estate license required as per state regulations.
  • Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time.
