Industry: Utility Scale Solar Construction

Position Summary:

We are in search of a highly qualified and seasoned Superintendent to manage utility-scale solar construction initiatives. In this role, you will be tasked with overseeing the daily operations at the construction site, ensuring that projects are executed on schedule, within financial constraints, and in accordance with safety standards. You will collaborate closely with project managers, construction teams, subcontractors, and various stakeholders to guarantee the successful delivery of solar construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide on-site leadership and direction to construction teams, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  2. Organize and schedule construction tasks, ensuring compliance with project timelines and objectives.
  3. Monitor and enforce safety measures and regulations to maintain a secure working environment.
  4. Conduct regular site evaluations to identify and mitigate potential challenges or risks.
  5. Work in partnership with project managers to formulate and execute construction strategies and plans.
  6. Oversee project finances, including expense tracking and implementation of cost control strategies.
  7. Coordinate with procurement teams to ensure the timely arrival of materials and equipment at the construction site.
  8. Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including daily logs, progress reports, and change orders.
  9. Build and sustain positive relationships with clients, subcontractors, construction teams, and other stakeholders to ensure satisfaction.
  10. Stay informed about industry developments, best practices, and regulatory standards related to utility-scale solar construction.

Qualifications:

  1. Demonstrated experience as a Superintendent in utility-scale solar construction projects.
  2. In-depth knowledge of construction methodologies, techniques, and safety regulations.
  3. Exceptional leadership and communication abilities, with a proven track record of effectively managing and inspiring teams.
  4. Proficient in project management software and tools.
  5. Ability to interpret construction plans, specifications, and blueprints.
  6. Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
  7. Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
  8. Willingness to travel to various project sites as necessary.
