Employee Support Specialist

The Employee Support Specialist plays a vital role in ensuring the satisfaction and effectiveness of assigned contract staff. This position involves regular communication with staff through phone calls and email, providing assistance and resolving inquiries. The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, enjoy connecting with people, and thrive in a supportive role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct quarterly check-in calls with assigned contract staff to assess job satisfaction and provide support.
  • Provide assistance and direct employees to appropriate contacts or resources to resolve questions or concerns.
  • Follow up with employees to resolve timecard reporting issues and gather needed information as required.
  • Extend offers to new contract employee hires and perform termination notifications when necessary.
  • Update and maintain employee records in the CRM system, ensuring accuracy and timely processing of changes.
  • Send personalized birthday cards to contract staff.
Qualifications:
  • Strong verbal communication skills, particularly on the phone.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks efficiently.
  • High level of organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Customer service experience is desired but not required.

This position reports to the New Gloucester, Maine office and operates on a hybrid work schedule.
