Woodfords Family Services is on the lookout for empathetic and dedicated professionals to join our expanding team as Educational Technicians (Ed Techs) within our Early Childhood Services Program. These positions are full-time, year-round, and come with a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package.


Role Summary

Ed Techs I, II, & III engage directly with children aged 3-5 who have been diagnosed with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities in a nurturing preschool setting. Under the guidance of the Lead Teacher, Ed Techs implement evidence-based strategies and interventions to assist young learners in building essential skills that encourage lifelong success and independence.

Services will be delivered at our Specialized Preschool in New Gloucester, ME, situated on the picturesque Pineland Farms campus, which offers access to beautiful walking trails, an organic market, campus events, and more.


What We Are Seeking:

Full-time (40 hours per week)

Monday to Friday; 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM

$20-21/hour - based on education and experience

$1,500 Sign-on bonus - disbursed upon successful completion of 6 months of employment


Qualifications for Ed Tech Positions - We welcome applications for all levels:

  • Ed Tech I: High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Ed Tech II: Minimum of 60 college credits
    • Associates Degree in a related field preferred.
  • Ed Tech III: Minimum of 90 college credits
    • Bachelor's Degree in a related field preferred.
  • Preference for candidates with at least 2 years of relevant experience working with children with intellectual or developmental disabilities.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean record.
  • Personal vehicle and current valid auto insurance.
