Woodfords Family Services is on the lookout for empathetic and dedicated professionals to join our expanding team as Educational Support Technicians II or III within our Special Purpose Private School (SPPS) Program. These positions are full-time, year-round (40 hours per week), and come with a competitive salary and an extensive benefits package.


Role Summary

The Educational Support Technician II or III will assist the SPPS Program by providing individualized support to students (K-5th grade) with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities in a therapeutic classroom environment.

Under the guidance and training of the classroom Lead Teacher and clinical team, Educational Support Technicians utilize evidence-based strategies and interventions to help students develop essential behavioral and academic skills that facilitate successful integration into the public school system.

Services will be delivered onsite at our SPPS Program.


What We Are Seeking:

Full-time (40 hours per week)

Monday through Friday; 8:00am-4:00pm

Compensation - based on education and experience

$1,500 Sign-on bonus - awarded upon successful completion of 6 months of employment


Qualifications for the Educational Support Technician:

  • Ed Tech II - Minimum of 60 college credits
    • Associates Degree in a relevant field preferred.
  • Ed Tech III - Minimum of 90 college credits
    • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field preferred.
  • Preference will be given to candidates with at least 2 years of relevant experience working with children with intellectual or developmental disabilities.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean record.
  • Personal vehicle and current auto insurance required.
