Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct drug screening tests on individuals using approved methodologies and equipment.
  • Collect, label, and document specimens accurately and in accordance with standard operating procedures.
  • Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail during the collection and processing of samples.
  • Adhere to strict privacy and confidentiality standards when handling sensitive information, including test results and personal data.
  • Operate and maintain drug screening and fingerprinting equipment, ensuring proper functionality and cleanliness.
  • Interact with clients and individuals being tested in a courteous and professional manner, providing clear instructions and addressing any questions or concerns.
  • Accurately complete necessary documentation, including chain-of-custody forms, test requisitions, and other related paperwork.
  • Follow established protocols for sample transportation, storage, and disposal.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless workflow and efficient operations within the testing facility.
  • Stay up-to-date with relevant regulations, industry trends, and best practices related to drug screening and fingerprinting procedures.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in a relevant field is a plus.
  • Prior experience as a Drug Screen Tech, Fingerprint Tech, or related role is preferred but not required.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate clearly and effectively with diverse individuals.
  • Keen attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accuracy in all aspects of the job.
  • Respect for confidentiality and ethical handling of sensitive information.
  • Proficiency in basic computer skills for data entry and documentation.
