Clinical Research Coordinator II

Job Summary:

Emory University is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Research Coordinator II to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling administrative activities associated with the conduct of clinical trials, providing guidance to less experienced staff, and managing research project databases.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage research project databases, develop flow sheets, and complete source documents/case report forms.
  • Interface with research participants, determine eligibility, and consent study participants according to protocol.
  • Approve orders for supplies and equipment maintenance.
  • Supervise collection of study specimens and processing.
  • Establish case packages for study procedures, monitor scheduling of procedures, and coordinate other services as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with research protocols, review case report forms, and audit for accuracy with source documents.
  • Prepare regulatory submissions.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED and five years of clinical research experience.
  • Two years of college in a scientific, health-related, or business administration program and three years of clinical research experience.
  • Licensed as a practical nurse (LPN) and two years of clinical research experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in a scientific, health-related, or business administration program and one year of clinical research experience.
  • Master's degree, MD, or PhD in a scientific, health-related, or business administration program.
