Role Overview: We are on the lookout for a dynamic Senior Identity and Access Management Engineer to join our innovative team. The ideal candidate will have a solid technical background, a comprehensive understanding of software development methodologies, and a meticulous approach to their work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • This position allows for remote work, with occasional travel to a designated office location as needed.
  • Design and implement solutions for Customer Identity and Access Management (CIAM) platforms, focusing on Entra External Identities (Azure B2C) and AWS Cognito.
  • Integrate applications using SAML, OpenID Connect, RADIUS, and OAuth protocols.
  • Implement Multi-Factor Authentication and Passwordless Authentication solutions.
  • Advance the design and architecture of applications to align with leading-edge technologies.
  • Conduct impact assessments to identify potential changes across various applications and platforms.
  • Gain insights into business processes to better align technology solutions with operational needs.
  • Test and validate innovative ideas, ensuring they meet user requirements and business objectives.
  • Document code and projects for clarity and ease of maintenance.
  • Resolve production issues and propose effective solutions across multiple applications.
  • Review and contribute to design documentation.
  • Participate actively in Agile practices and contribute to team commitments.
  • Lead learning initiatives to enhance design and code quality.
  • Engage in the talent acquisition process.
  • Mentor junior IAM engineers by reviewing their code and designs.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; or equivalent experience.
  • At least 8 years of experience in software engineering and identity management.
  • Experience with Privileged Access Management (PAM) tools like CyberArk or BeyondTrust.
  • Proven leadership in guiding technical direction for identity and access teams.
  • Strong proficiency in object-oriented programming languages and design patterns.
  • Familiarity with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall.
  • Experience with enterprise-level applications.
  • Ability to mentor and coach less experienced team members.
  • Strong knowledge of Directories, SSO, Federation, and API gateways.
  • Experience with PowerShell, Java, and .NET scripting.
  • Understanding of Zero Trust principles.
  • Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of authentication and authorization standards (SAML2.0, OAuth 2.0, OIDC).
  • Hands-on experience with CIAM tools such as Azure Active Directory B2C or Amazon Cognito.
  • Experience in API security and analytics.
  • Background in the financial services sector.

Compensation: The targeted total compensation for this role ranges from $187,000 to $313,750, which includes a competitive base salary, equity, and an annual variable compensation package.
