At Museum Associates, we are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Annual Giving Assistant to provide administrative support to our Development team.
Job SummaryThe Annual Giving Assistant will be responsible for processing and coordinating complex member solicitations and mailings, drafting and distributing correspondence and acknowledgments, and creating event invitations and other mailings. This role will also involve managing donor files and databases, tracking event and development department budgets, and providing reports from the donor database.
Responsibilities- Process and coordinate complex member solicitations and mailings, including renewals, acknowledgement letters, membership cards, and gift receipts.
- Draft and distribute correspondence and acknowledgments to donors and members.
- Create event invitations, save-the-dates, and other mailings to promote Museum Associates' events and programs.
- Manage donor files and databases, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
- Track and assist with event and development department budgets, providing regular reports and updates.
- Provide administrative support to the Development team, including processing expense reports and invoices.
- Assist with data analysis and create Excel spreadsheets to track donor information and event attendance.
- Interact with top donors and provide exceptional customer service.
- Route and respond to telephone calls and emails from donors and members.
- Maintain accurate and organized files and databases.
- Coordinate meetings, conference calls, and appointments with donors and members.
- Support Development events as needed.
- Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
- Perform other duties or special projects as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in Art History or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of administrative experience.
- Experience in a development or fundraising environment is preferred.
Museum Associates offers a comprehensive benefits package, including a pension plan, to eligible employees. The expected hourly rate for this position is $20.00-$21.63, subject to change.
