Clinical Nurse Supervisor NICU Leader

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Clinical Nurse Supervisor to join our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) team at SCL Health. As a Clinical Nurse Supervisor, you will be responsible for providing leadership, supervision, and role modeling on the unit, while also delivering high-quality patient care and advocating for our tiniest patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and supervision to nursing staff on the NICU unit
  • Perform health teaching and health counseling to patients and families
  • Develop and implement therapy and treatment plans to support patient well-being
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care
  • Participate in performance improvement activities and new initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
  • Recruit, hire, and evaluate nursing staff to ensure a high-performing team
Requirements
  • ASN/ADN from an accredited program with the ability to obtain BSN within four years of hire
  • Current Colorado RN license or compact license with the ability to obtain Colorado RN license
  • Current BLS certification endorsed by the American Heart Association or the ability to obtain within sixty days of hire
  • At least three years of nursing experience in NICU, highly preferred
