Responsibilities- Utilize the nursing process to deliver patient care, assessing learning needs and implementing teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of patients, families, and other groups or disciplines.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams, delegating and managing nursing team resources to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Embody concepts and behaviors that enhance customer satisfaction and employee morale, promoting a culture of excellence in nursing practice.
- Adapt behavior to meet the specific needs of patients, respecting their privacy and communicating in a clear and compassionate manner.
- Current registered nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Preferred: Certification in a clinical specialty area.
