Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Youth Development Professional to join our team at Boys & Girls Clubs of Northeast Florida. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating programs that promote character development, leadership skills, and healthy lifestyles among youth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Planning and Implementation
    • Develop and implement a range of programs and activities that promote character development, leadership skills, and healthy lifestyles among youth.
    • Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a cohesive and effective program delivery.
  • Program Evaluation and Improvement
    • Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness and make recommendations for improvement.
    • Conduct regular assessments to ensure program alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Staff Supervision and Support
    • Supervise and support staff members in the delivery of programs and services.
    • Provide guidance and coaching to staff members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver high-quality programs.
  • Community Engagement and Partnerships
    • Develop and maintain partnerships with community organizations and stakeholders to support program delivery and advancement.
    • Represent the organization at community events and meetings to promote programs and services.
Requirements
  • Education
    • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience
    • Minimum 2 years of experience in youth development, program coordination, or a related field.
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Strong knowledge of youth development principles and practices.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
    • Ability to plan, implement, and evaluate programs.
Work Environment

This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to adapt to changing circumstances. The successful candidate will be required to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
