Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Youth Development Professional to join our team as an Arts Program Coordinator at Chaffee Trail Middle. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, implementing, and supervising a variety of arts programs for members of all ages.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Development: Plan and implement a range of arts programs, including visual arts, digital arts, performing arts, and applied arts.
  • Youth Engagement: Recruit and retain youth for arts programs, and work with other staff to implement these programs throughout the school year.
  • Program Administration: Prepare weekly reports for the Program Director, maintain a daily schedule, and ensure that programs begin and end on time.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure a healthy and safe environment, supervise members in the program area, and maintain the cleanliness of the program area.
Requirements
  • Education: High School diploma or GED
  • Experience: Knowledge of youth development, ability to motivate youth and manage behavior issues, ability to work with the public, and ability to plan and implement quality programs.
Work Environment

This position generally works Monday to Friday, between the hours of 2PM and 7PM, but may require longer hours outside of this schedule and occasional weekends when necessary.
