Job Summary

Prometheus Federal Services is seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our finance team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effective management of our budget and financial resources.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support various finance projects, ensuring timely and accurate completion
  • Present financial data and program material to various audiences through presentations, reports, and other communication methods
  • Review budgets and compare program usage to budget, identifying areas for improvement
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure financial goals are met and provide financial insights to support project planning and execution
  • Prepare comprehensive financial reports and presentations for executive leadership, committees, and other stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with federal regulations and internal policies regarding financial management and reporting
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • Minimum of four (4) years of relevant experience in financial analysis
  • Excellent Excel skills, including advanced functions and data analysis tools
  • Strong reporting and presentation skills
  • Deep understanding of finance principles and practices
  • Strong customer presence with excellent communication (written and oral), presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship indefinitely
  • Ability to obtain a public trust
Preferred Qualifications
  • MBA or advanced degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • Experience supporting the Veterans Health Administration (VHA) or other federal health agencies preferred
  • Government consulting budgeting experience is highly preferred
  • Familiarity with federal financial regulations and compliance requirements
