Key Responsibilities
This role presents an opportunity to collaborate with technical, product, and production leadership to advance the initiatives of our Technical Foundation Team. You will:
- Work alongside project leadership to propel initiatives aimed at enhancing reliability, technical performance, developer productivity, and platform compliance.
- Ensure transparency, consistency, and predictability in team operations, enhancing developer experiences and player satisfaction.
- Align technical endeavors with customer requirements, product goals, and business objectives, crafting narratives around technical efforts and establishing KPIs for impact assessment.
- Collaborate with various development teams to extend existing technologies or innovate new solutions that support the ongoing growth and success of Monopoly GO.
- Engage and align across departments to fulfill individual engineering objectives and collective business goals.
- Manage technical risks, ensure timely mitigation, and maintain clear communication with stakeholders.
- Partner with Product, Production, and Engineering leadership to define and prioritize the technical roadmap.
- Implement effective processes and practices to foster a positive work culture and ensure the timely delivery of high-quality outputs.
- Encourage a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performing team culture focused on continuous improvement and professional growth.
- Monitor project progress, provide regular updates, and prepare comprehensive reports detailing achievements, challenges, and strategic recommendations.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in technical management within game development teams at scale.
- A strong advocate for engineering culture and an effective communicator across domains and product teams.
- Proficient understanding of technical project management methodologies and tools.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
- Extensive experience with Unity and AWS backend.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
