About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Engineer to join our team in San Francisco, CA. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for defining project scope, interpreting and executing project assignments, and conducting quality control checks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define project scope and execute project assignments with minimal supervision.
  • Conduct quality control checks, reviewing calculations, designs, evaluations, and specifications for accuracy and completeness.
  • Develop novel approaches and solutions to technical problems, and recommend changes or improvements to plans and programs.
  • Function as the project manager for routine to semi-complex projects, including marketing, negotiating contracts, budgeting, financial management, schedule coordination, and resource allocation.
  • Supervise and coordinate with other senior professionals and support staff, and interface with senior technical professionals, technical managers, and administrative staff as necessary.
Requirements
  • B.S. or M.S. in Engineering, with M.S. or graduate level technical coursework preferred.
  • P.E. license is required.
  • Strong technical writing and communications skills, proven through technical presentations, technical papers, and/or participation in technical committees.
  • Ability to process paper/electronic documents, utilize computer equipment, and communicate clearly both orally and in writing.
  • Ability to plan, prioritize, and review project plans and documents, evaluate alternatives, and select appropriate solutions.

Expected compensation range is between $101,419 - $169,031 depending on skills, experience, and geographical location.
