About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Human Resources Business Partner to join our team at Quest Diagnostics. As a key member of our HR team, you will play a critical role in driving business results and supporting the growth and development of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Relationships:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with mid to senior-level clients, providing consultative support and guidance to drive business outcomes.
    • Serve as a trusted advisor and partner to our leadership team, influencing and challenging others to achieve business objectives.
    • Stay up-to-date on current and future business trends, both internal and external, to inform strategic decisions.
  • Strategy & Planning:
    • Collaborate with leaders to develop and execute business strategy, driving organizational capabilities, behaviors, structures, and processes.
    • Translate business plans into talent and organizational plans, contributing to the development of our People Strategy.
    • Optimize transformational change efforts, providing consulting support and guidance to lead and manage change.
  • Business Based Outcomes:
    • Ensure strong leadership teams are in place, playing a key role in recruiting senior-level talent.
    • Drive toward strong organizational performance, as evidenced by business measures such as productivity, quality, and service.
    • Drive toward an optimal culture that facilitates employee success, including engagement, diversity, and inclusion.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree; Master's degree preferred.
  • Experience: 8-10 years of exempt-level Human Resources experience, with at least 5 years as an HR Business Partner.
  • Skills: Proficiency in MS Office products and HR systems, understanding of state and federal labor laws and regulations, strong project and process management skills, strong analytical skills, and highly developed leadership and strategic influencing skills.
