Responsibilities:
The HR team plays a crucial role in providing expert guidance on compliance with legislation and aligning corporate policies with organizational objectives. Drive HR initiatives, promote employee engagement, and collaborate on talent acquisition and development strategies. Manage employee relations with integrity, lead change initiatives, and excel in a dynamic work environment. This role supports various functions at the Celanese Corporate Office.

Key Responsibilities:


1. Offer guidance and support concerning legislative, regulatory, and compliance matters, including company policies and procedures, to achieve business objectives and ensure consistency across functions.


2. Proactively identify business and HR goals; develop, manage, or participate in project teams as necessary to achieve desired outcomes in a timely manner.


3. Foster an environment that champions HR initiatives, advocates for employees, and cultivates a culture of engagement while collaborating with Center of Excellence teams in areas such as talent acquisition, organizational design, employee development, compensation planning, talent reviews, and succession planning.


4. Provide oversight to address employee relations matters in a balanced, fair, and objective manner, utilizing appropriate counseling, investigative, intervention, and problem-resolution techniques.


5. Partner with management to drive change initiatives that enhance organizational performance.


6. Continuously identify business and HR objectives; develop, manage, or participate in project teams as appropriate to achieve desired results efficiently.

This position will support the Celanese Corporate Office across multiple functions.

Qualifications:
Required:

- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

- 3-7 years of experience in Human Resource Management.


- HR experience in a complex organization with diverse cultures and operational environments, including experience providing strategic recommendations and collaborating with senior leadership.


- Comprehensive HR Generalist background with expertise in various disciplines such as employee relations, workforce planning, talent management, talent development, performance management, compensation, and more.

- Experience in organizational development and change management.

- Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with rapidly changing priorities.

- Demonstrated capability to build rapport and influence at all organizational levels.

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

- Proven ability to adapt to shifting priorities and manage time effectively.

- Knowledgeable of federal and state employment laws with the ability to apply this knowledge throughout the organization.

- Demonstrated ability to effectively collaborate with HR colleagues in delivering business solutions.

Preferred:

- Master's degree preferred.
