Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular visits to veterinary practices, laboratories, and institutions within your assigned sales area to achieve set sales targets.
  • Maintain and enhance relationships with existing accounts while actively seeking new business opportunities to expand market share.
  • Engage in proactive prospecting, pursuing, and closing sales of equipment and technology within your territory.
  • Manage and grow the existing consumables customer base.
  • Generate leads for technology offerings, exclusive products, and capital equipment.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations and pricing proposals to clients.
  • Consistently meet or exceed forecasted sales goals.
  • Promote Patterson Vet marketing initiatives and showcase new product offerings.
  • Participate in meetings and activities as directed by management.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned related to Veterinary Pharmaceutical Sales.

Minimum Qualifications: Candidates must possess one or more of the following:

  • A minimum of three years of experience in business-to-business sales.
  • A minimum of three years of experience in the health or veterinary sector.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in direct, retail, or telephone sales.
  • Familiarity with the veterinary industry.
  • Proficient PC skills, including knowledge of spreadsheet and word processing software.
  • Ability to analyze financial data effectively.
  • Strong negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
