Special Events Associate

Join the Sugar Land Space Cowboys team as a Special Events Associate and be part of the excitement of executing non-baseball events at Constellation Field. Our Special Events department is responsible for hosting a variety of events, including college baseball games, concerts, festivals, tournaments, and private events.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in planning and budgeting for events
  • Work closely with clients from start to finish to ensure a successful event
  • Coordinate the permitting process for each event
  • Make sales calls to inquire about potential events
  • Take on responsibilities for Sugar Land Holiday Lights
  • Develop and implement social media and marketing strategies for events
Requirements:
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work extended hours, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Reliable transportation and ability to do voucher drop offs, hand out flyers, etc.
  • Preferred: social media experience
Work Environment:

This role operates in an office setting and working around the ballpark. The employee will regularly use standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets.

Physical Demands:

The employee will frequently be required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close and focused vision. This role will include the usage of power tools.
