Job Title: Front Desk Customer Service Representative

Reports to: General Manager/Sales & Service Manager

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Summary: This role is essential in promoting exceptional customer service and managing sales and registration transactions. As the initial point of contact for both potential and existing customers, you will play a key role in presenting a positive image of our organization.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, take messages, and direct calls professionally.
  2. Process student registrations utilizing effective sales and customer service techniques.
  3. Schedule and oversee birthday and pool parties, supervising the private party staff.
  4. Address customer concerns and complaints with a professional demeanor.
  5. Assist members with merchandise and vending purchases.
  6. Welcome parents and students as they arrive at the front desk.
  7. Check in students using the attendance tracking system.
  8. Maintain cleanliness in the front desk area, Snack Shack, changing areas, restrooms, and observation areas.
  9. Oversee the Snack Shack area and provide guidance to staff.
  10. Check voicemail and email correspondence, responding promptly.
  11. Update informational displays with accurate promotions and literature.
  12. Provide occasional administrative support to management personnel.
  13. Make collection calls to resolve outstanding account issues.
  14. Prepare daily student lesson schedules for instructors and management.
  15. Enforce safety regulations to prevent accidents and administer first aid when necessary.
  16. Perform additional duties as assigned by the employer.
Education/Experience: A high school diploma or GED is required, with some college preferred. A minimum of two years of prior customer service or administrative office experience is necessary. Intermediate computer skills in Word, Excel, and other software are required.

Certifications and Licenses: CPR, First Aid, and AED certification are mandatory.

Work Environment: Employees may occasionally be exposed to heat and humidity, with a moderate noise level typically present.

Compensation: $12.00 per hour
