Reports to: General Manager/Sales & Service Manager
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Summary: This role is essential in promoting exceptional customer service and managing sales and registration transactions. As the initial point of contact for both potential and existing customers, you will play a key role in presenting a positive image of our organization.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, take messages, and direct calls professionally.
- Process student registrations utilizing effective sales and customer service techniques.
- Schedule and oversee birthday and pool parties, supervising the private party staff.
- Address customer concerns and complaints with a professional demeanor.
- Assist members with merchandise and vending purchases.
- Welcome parents and students as they arrive at the front desk.
- Check in students using the attendance tracking system.
- Maintain cleanliness in the front desk area, Snack Shack, changing areas, restrooms, and observation areas.
- Oversee the Snack Shack area and provide guidance to staff.
- Check voicemail and email correspondence, responding promptly.
- Update informational displays with accurate promotions and literature.
- Provide occasional administrative support to management personnel.
- Make collection calls to resolve outstanding account issues.
- Prepare daily student lesson schedules for instructors and management.
- Enforce safety regulations to prevent accidents and administer first aid when necessary.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the employer.
Certifications and Licenses: CPR, First Aid, and AED certification are mandatory.
Work Environment: Employees may occasionally be exposed to heat and humidity, with a moderate noise level typically present.
Compensation: $12.00 per hour
