Job Title: Budget Analyst

ARServices is seeking a highly skilled Budget Analyst to join our team in Albuquerque, NM. As a key member of our financial management team, you will play a critical role in supporting the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) in managing their complex research, development, test, and evaluation (RDT&E) portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement financial plans, monitor budget execution, and prepare regular and special purpose reports.
  • Use the Consolidated Acquisition Tool (CAT) to construct and receive approval for Purchase Request (PR) packages and Needs Statements.
  • Provide support for external financial audits and assist in budget management execution activities.
  • Collaborate with the customer to review priority contract actions, review proposal packages for completeness, and develop Statements of Work for DTRA contracts.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, or Accounting, plus 10-15 years of experience, or Master's degree in a related field plus 10-12 years of experience.
  • Demonstrated success with multi-year fiscal planning and execution.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, work independently, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.
