Job Summary

Columbia Helicopters is seeking a highly skilled IT Support Technician II to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to employees across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide daily support to end-users, both globally and onsite, by assisting with problem analysis and Service desk ticket resolution.
  • Set up and deliver workstations and necessary peripheral devices as assigned.
  • Maintain proper logs and records of computer and software deployments.
  • Provide expert advice on resolving technology-related issues, including network, hardware, phones, printers, and more.
  • Train workers in the use of hardware, software, and other technology.
  • Perform hardware and software troubleshooting.
  • Develop a working knowledge of networking, TCP-IP, VoIP, Microsoft Windows, and Server.
  • Suggest modifications and corrections to existing software applications.
  • Understand networking technology, including routing, switching, wireless technology, firewalls, VPN, Remote Access, and Cybersecurity.
  • Conduct oneself in accordance with Columbia Helicopters' Core Values.
Requirements
  • At least four years of experience with computer networking and support.
  • Knowledge of IT terminology and functional understanding of Service Management and Delivery.
  • Knowledge of networking, internet security, and troubleshooting.
  • Proven success in Customer Service is a must.
  • Associates degree or equivalent technical certification.
  • Ability to train staff with varying degrees of proficiency on technical content.
  • Ability to handle constantly changing workload and priorities.
  • Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in written format.
  • Ability to seek out work, recommend projects, and work independently.
