Job Title: Medical Support Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated Medical Support Specialist to join our team at Adecco. As a Medical Support Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our donors.

Job Summary

The Medical Support Specialist will be responsible for evaluating donor eligibility, ensuring donor safety, and providing support throughout the plasma donation process. This is a direct-hire, full-time, and permanent position.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate donors' medical history and perform physical assessments to ensure eligibility for plasma donation.
  • Accurately complete all required documentation for donor eligibility, donor reactions, and any employee incidents.
  • Deliver flu shots to donors and employees, handle adverse donor reactions, and provide assistance during the active donation process.
  • Assist in production tasks as needed, including gathering donor medical history and entering data into the system.
  • Maintain a safe environment, ensure compliance with regulations, and coordinate with EMS for any medical emergencies.
Requirements
  • Licenses: RN, LPN, or EMT-P with active certification.
  • Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years in a clinical or plasma center setting preferred.
  • Skills: Strong communication skills, ability to handle sensitive conversations with empathy, and comfort working in a fast-paced, repetitive environment.
