Aircraft Maintenance Specialist

The Aircraft Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the airworthiness of aircraft components and parts. This involves reading and interpreting technical data, inspecting and testing components, and performing repairs and overhauls.
Key Responsibilities:- Reads and interprets technical data to determine the feasibility and method to perform assigned tasks.
- Cleans and inspects aircraft components and parts for damage and wear.
- Replaces or repairs damaged or worn aircraft parts and components.
- Performs tests and/or checks to confirm aircraft parts serviceability.
- Documents all inspection findings and work performed in maintenance records.
- Maintains work areas and tools in a clean and organized manner.
- Practices proper tool and FOD control.
- Performs work safely and utilizes technical data for assigned tasks.
- Monitors and supports continuous improvement activities.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) license preferred.
- Documented military or commercial aircraft maintenance and/or component maintenance training preferred.
- Four plus years' mechanical experience preferred.
- A strong aptitude for acquiring new mechanical skills and knowledge required.
- Ability to locate, read and follow technical data for assigned tasks.
- Ability to use precision measuring equipment and hand tools.
- Ability to work overtime and/or weekends as assigned.
- Ability to work in a shop environment or work outdoors locally or in remote locations.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
