Position Title: Patient Services Manager

Reports To: Director of Dining Services

Location: North Shore

Salary Range: $50,000 - $65,000

Compensation Package: Includes meal plan and phone stipend.

Role Summary: We are in search of a dedicated Patient Services Manager to oversee our Patient Services Team within an Acute Care environment. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our patients receive the highest quality of food service tailored to their needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set objectives and manage the execution of patient food service requirements based on medical guidance and patient demographics.
  • Recruit, lead, mentor, and develop team members within the patient services department.
  • Adhere to dietary restrictions for specialized diets, ensuring that patient preferences align with dietary guidelines.
  • Facilitate patient services staff in achieving established patient satisfaction metrics.
  • Comply with regulatory standards from federal, state, and accrediting bodies while maintaining confidentiality and patient rights.
  • Engage in and lead initiatives aimed at enhancing patient satisfaction, departmental meetings, and Quality Assurance/Performance Improvement programs.

Qualifications:

  • Associate degree with a minimum of one year of experience in food services or a related field, or a bachelor’s degree in food service technology/management or a related discipline.
  • Preferred certifications include Certified Dietary Manager, Registered Diet Technician, or Registered Dietitian.
  • At least one year of management experience in food service, preferably in an acute care setting.
  • ServSafe certification is desirable.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, electronic medical records, and diet office systems.
