At Synergy Direct LLC, we are seeking a highly skilled Sales Analyst to join our team. As a Sales Analyst, you will play a vital role in assisting our Sales Team with Forecasting, Planning, and Analysis by providing valuable insights.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately generate and process reports that are distributed to sales personnel, ensuring timely and accurate data delivery.
  • Collect and analyze sales data to report on sales revenue and projections at the global, entity, channel, and customer levels for weekly or ad-hoc reporting.
  • Prepare monthly sales and regional reports, including revenue management, customer order analysis, and sales incentive calculation reports for individual and team production.
  • Maintain customer group and sales manager account allocation detail, initiating and communicating changes as needed to ensure accuracy.
  • Validate customer rebate accruals, deductions, credits, and commission compensation calculations.
  • Prepare sales data and PowerPoint presentations for monthly S&OP meetings, providing actionable insights to inform business decisions.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key external customers to cultivate reciprocity of data and information sharing, improving forecasting and planning.
  • Answer questions and maintain documents related to customer contracts, pricing, and terms.
  • Produce reports used in the creation of the Strategic Sales Plan, Sales Forecasting, and Supply Chain/Operations Planning, analyzing data to determine appropriate sales and production goals.
  • Manage existing and create new databases to ensure data integrity for accurate reporting and security of confidential information.
  • Manage interfaces relating to various departments and systems within the organization.
  • Assist the sales team and IT department with software upgrades and coordinate training on new software.
  • Coordinate the input of historical data in systems to ensure accuracy for future planning, forecasting, and comparison analysis.
  • Maintain the Sales Data Stream Folder monthly, providing in-depth analytics and insights as requested.
  • Establish consistent global sales reporting tools for all divisions of the company, providing training as needed.
  • Generate ad-hoc sales reports as requested.
  • Report to the Vice President of Sales, supporting retail and wholesale field sales teams, company, and independent sales reps.
  • Work directly with sales entities globally to structure their data and create reporting tools they would need otherwise not have the local expertise to manage.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
  • At least 2-3 years of sales or related analytical experience preferred.
  • Experience within the consumer products/retail/home improvement channel desired.
  • Experience with JD Edwards desired.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Proficient analytical abilities and keen attention to detail.
  • Self-starter and team player with a desire to participate in a collaborative team environment.
