Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Investment Performance Business Analyst to join our team in a dynamic and collaborative environment. As an Investment Performance Business Analyst, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing business analysis and functional consulting services to investment servicing operations teams
  • Developing and maintaining knowledge of different deal trade lifecycle events for private markets and related data elements
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to create custom benchmarks and conduct peer comparison, benchmarking analysis, and risk analysis
  • Validating, reconciling, investigating, and resolving discrepancies in performance calculations
  • Developing and maintaining knowledge of algebraic data modeling and foundational understanding of machine learning/statistical modeling techniques
  • Staying up-to-date with regulatory and investor reporting compliance requirements for US markets
  • Working with market-leading alternative performance data providers to gather and analyze data
  • Developing and maintaining strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to create detailed reports and give presentations
  • Managing end-to-end implementation projects, including Agile/Waterfall methodologies, and translating requirements into feature function capabilities
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of projects and meeting established deadlines
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 10-15 years of experience as a Business Analyst/Functional Consultant/Investment Servicing Operations professional
  • Strong professional experience in Financial Services industry with good proficiency in Investment Products, especially related to Private Markets
  • Exposure to at least one or more asset classes (private equity, hedge funds, real estate, synthetic derivatives, etc.)
  • Solid work experience on Portfolio performance measurement metrics and attribution analysis
  • Knowledge of GIPS standard and regulatory and investor reporting compliance requirements for US markets
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to create detailed reports and give presentations
  • Ability to multitask and meet established deadlines in a dynamic work environment
