About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Program Manager to join our Event Technology team within AWS Marketing. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing complex technical programs, building strategic relationships with stakeholders, and driving the delivery of our roadmap.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with 3P vendors, engineers, product managers, and global stakeholders to coordinate the launch of different services and products.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and high-risk areas, and develop innovative solutions to complex technical challenges.
  • Lead the Application Security Process for in-person and virtual event platforms.
  • Manage technical programs across cross-functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules.
  • Define KPIs/SLAs used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and report to senior leadership.
About the Team

Our team is a newly formed organization within AWS Marketing, and we are looking for a talented individual to help us build programs to bring greater levels of standardization, scale, and technical excellence across in-person and virtual event platforms.

Requirements
  • 5+ years of technical program management experience working directly with software engineering teams.
  • Experience managing technical programs across cross-functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules.
  • Experience defining KPIs/SLAs used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership.
