Compensation : $46.31 - $46.31 Hourly Client Job Ref ID : ASC-9270|AH-HHC-4672 Start Date : 10/15/2023 End Date : 01/20/2024 Department: Cardiac Cath Labs Anc Shift timings: Early Morning Shift 06:30 - 17:00 Hours Monday to Friday 4 days 10 hour shiftRoles & Responsibilities Under the general direction of the physician (Cardiologist/Radiologist), will assist by scrubbing procedures or monitoring physiologic and hemodynamic data, as related to diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures performed in the cardiovascular lab. Ensures procedure room is adequately prepared for the procedure. Monitors par level of all instruments and supplies. Participates in departmental staff meetings and performance improvement activities and the training of new staff. Assists in all aspects of invasive and noninvasive cardiac procedures. Minimum Qualifications 13 week contract - BLS, ACLS; ARRT or RCIS certification needed; varying start time of 0630-0830 and end times of 1500-1700 M-F; Call: 1-2 weekday evenings per week, 1 weekend per month; Holidays: covered by call; Prior experience in cath lab required; may need to float to sites within 40 miles QUALIFICATIONS BLS and ACLS National Institutes of Health (NIH) Certified Principal Investigator (CPI) Certification Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology. The ability to stand for extended periods. Strong technical skills. Knowledge of medical terminology Passionate about patient care Requires a minimum of two years of current Cardiac Cath Lab Tech experience. Graduate from a fully accredited Cardiac Cath Lab Tech program Active unencumbered Cardiac Cath Lab Tech Wisconsin state license One year of Epic experience Requirements COVID vaccine with 2 Shots & Booster. SKILLS/ ABILITIES/ COMPETENCIES REQUIRED: Maintains and updates clinical knowledge and skills. Participates in relevant continuing education programs. Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all patients. Ability to take initiative and to exercise independent judgment, decision-making and problem-solving expertise. A can-do, team oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital. Effective interpersonal/communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks.
