Key Responsibilities
- Generate sales through existing and new commercial customers
- Work closely with our design team to maximize commercial customers' space and experience with our products
- Organize lunch and learns with designers and commercial clients
- Prepare and process sales quotes and orders
- Make recommendations to customers based on inspections and issues identified
- Responsible for developing and generating new business opportunities and income for assigned markets
- Follow up on company-provided leads and generate own prospects and referrals
- Present high-value proposals to sales leaders, trainers, and C-level executives
- Achieve/exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales quotas
- Identify, pursue, engage, and close new clients and grow existing clients and opportunities
- Generate and qualify leads through various methods, including cold calling, referrals, research, etc.
- Complete market research and monitor competitor activity
- Undertake continual learning and education
- Ability to travel regionally with daily or overnight stays to maintain a consistent presence with local office staff, customers, and prospects
Requirements
- Travel is required for this position
- 3-5 years of experience in business development or commercial sales preferred
- Strong relationship-building skills
- Ability to drive to/transport and set up trade show booths as needed
- Position is located in Jordan, MN (not remote)
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; experience in property management, commercial real estate, project management, or design preferred
- Demonstrated ability to be a self-starter, multi-task, shift demands, and willingness to be collaborative and support team efforts
- Excellent interpersonal, communication (verbal and written), and detail-oriented skills
- Excellent PC skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook 365
