Job Title: Weekend Shift Supervisor for Mental Health Assistants

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Weekend Shift Supervisor to join our team at Hermitage Hall, a leading provider of mental health services. As a Weekend Shift Supervisor, you will be responsible for providing guidance and leadership to our Mental Health Assistants, ensuring that programming is executed as intended and staff are demonstrating quality resident care.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide guidance and leadership to Mental Health Assistants to ensure quality resident care and programming execution.
  • Coordinate staff appreciation and events for residents.
  • Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with Hermitage Hall's policies and procedures.
  • Ensure that staff are following and implementing the program and unit schedules.
  • Participate in interviewing, training, and identifying opportunities to improve employees' skill base.
  • Participate in setting standards for and appraising performance; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
  • De-escalate aggression and utilize active listening skills to promote a positive peer culture.
  • Respond to crisis situations and assist in the proper implementation of protective holds.
  • Identify opportunities to improve employees' skill base and set standards for coaching and appraising employee performance.

Requirements:

  • Must have a BS/BA and 3 years of experience working with children/adolescents, preferably in a residential setting.
  • Supervisory experience is preferred.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
