Job Summary:

Hermitage Hall, a leading provider of mental health services, is seeking a Weekend Shift Supervisor to oversee the Mental Health Assistants team. This role requires a strong background in mental health, leadership skills, and the ability to coordinate staff appreciation and events.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide guidance and leadership to Mental Health Assistants to ensure quality resident care and program execution.
  • Coordinate staff appreciation and events for residents.
  • Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with Hermitage Hall's policies and procedures.
  • Ensure staff are following and implementing program and unit schedules.
  • Participate in interviewing, training, and identifying opportunities to improve employees' skill base.
  • Participate in setting standards for and appraising performance; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
  • De-escalate aggression and utilize counseling skills to promote a positive peer culture.
  • Respond to crisis situations and assist in the proper implementation of protective holds.

Requirements:

  • BS/BA degree and 3 years of experience working with children/adolescents, preferably in a residential setting.
  • Supervisory experience preferred.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
