Mental Health Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Assistant to join our team at Hermitage Hall, a leading psychiatric residential treatment hospital in Middle Tennessee. As a Mental Health Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing care and support to our clients, while also contributing to the development and implementation of their behavioral programs.
Responsibilities:- Provide close supervision and care to clients, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
- Implement treatment plans and provide crisis intervention as necessary, working closely with our multidisciplinary team.
- Document client behavior and progress, maintaining accurate and timely records.
- Participate in psychoeducational groups and activities, stimulating clients' interest and cooperation.
- Assist in the preparation of behavioral reports and daily activities logs, ensuring seamless communication with our team.
- BS/BA in social services or related field, with 1 year of direct care experience or supervised practicum.
- High school diploma or equivalency preferred.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
We offer a competitive compensation package, including a starting rate of $16.50/hour plus $3/hour for 2nd shift differential.
